Galaxy 230 Colony Counter Overview Innovative PC software (optional) allows for recording, tracing or reporting data that includes sample number, date, users name, row count, dilution factor and total count. A wide range of Petri dish diameters from 90 to 150mm is accepted. The pressure sensor design enables operation of the counter with various marking pens.
A ringed-shaped illumination lamp with electronic ballast results in glare-free light without blinding or noise and makes for a comfortable workstation without eyestrain. A unique BACK button allows for removal of data if over-counting occurs and a black or white background contrast plate is available if using clear or dark agar.
The standard kit includes the Galaxy 230 Colony Counter, power cord, magnifier, magnifier holder, black marking pen, screwdriver and operating manual. The PC Software with Connecting Cable can be included with the colony counter kits or purchased separately.
