The Profile is a portable handheld microprocessor based instrument that determines the velocity profile in a duct or stack.

The Profile - Velocity Data Logger calculates the flue gas velocity by measuring the temperature and differential pressure in a flowing air or gas stream. It also measures the ambient pressure and temperature and logs all the data recorded on a point-by-point basis.
The Profile not only reads and data logs the temperature and differential pressure of each traverse point - along with ambient temperature and pressure - but can display them as a graph on the screen giving an instant picture of velocity and whether it is suitable for isokinetic sampling.
APPLICATIONS
The Profile will log up to 21 separate tests and store the point-by-point sample information for up to 4 traverses per test, along with the averages for each traverse. Once collected the information can be displayed on the Profile screen or downloaded to a PC for data processing and report generation.
Data can be retrived from the Profiles huge memory directly to your computer via a serial port and utility such as Hyper Terminal. Parameters are comma delimited and CR line terminated so they are suitable for spreadsheet applications.
