OverviewEach Bio-Suction System is equipped with double overflow protection that includes a level float control in the suction bottle and a filter disc between the bottle and the pump which avoids media flowing into the vacuum pump.
DesignThe suction bottle, sampling tube and filter disc are all autoclavable. The oil free vacuum pump is low noise, long lasting and requires no maintenance.
The outer case is constructed of a durable acrylonitrile butadiene system (A.B.S.) that is light weight with a shiny clean appearance and easy maintenance. The BioVac 240 has a hanging case to store the power cord and foot switch which is used for easier operation.

The
suction bottles are polycarbonate (p.c.) material & available in 1000, 2000 and 3000ml capacity. They are autoclavable with heat resistance up to 130°C and are equipped with a float level to prevent media from flowing into the pump.
The 0.2µm
filter discs are hydrophobic PTFE and autoclavable for 15 minutes at 121°C. The air flow rate through the filter discs at 10psi is 8 lpm through the 37mm disc and 3.58 lpm through the 73mm disc.
Various
aspiration adapters are available in an
optional kit. The kit includes a Single Channel Plastic, a Single Channel Stainless Steel & a Single Channel Plastic Adapter with an Ejector for Plastic Tips as well as a Hand Operator with Stand and an 8-Channel Stainless Steel and 8-Channel Plastic Aspiration Adapter with an Ejector for Plastic Tips.
