PTFE syringe filters from New Star are designed to filter more powerful chemical and solvent samples. Our PTFE syringe filters are manufactured with diameters of either 13 mm and 25 mm with pore size options of both .22 and .45 microns.

Our PTFE syringe filters are recommended for both gas chromatography and HPLC solvent filtration. New Star PTFE syringe filters are also great for filtering and degassing solvents prior to any analyiss. If hydrophobic PTFE membranes are used to filter hydrophilic liquids, the membranes should be wetted with either isopropanol or ethanol prior to filtration.
