Our diaphragm pumps are positive displacement pumps that use a reciprocating action of a membrane and a non-return check valve to pump a fluid. A very economical diaphragm pump is our 54908-037 which is oil-less with a single phase, ball bearing type motor with internal thermal protection. It comes complete with muffler, vacuum gauges, hose nipples, rubber feet and carrying handle. It is manufactured by Gast, a leader in manufacture of high quality diaphragm pumps. Much like the peristaltic pumps manufactured by Welch, these diaphragm pumps are used in research and development, pharmaceutical and general laboratory work.
