Stir Plate

The term stir plate is very often used interchangeably with magnetic stirrer or stirrer magnetic to describe instruments used in the lab for mixing. These differ from overhead mixers in that no motor-driven shaft is required and the flat surface of the stir plate provides a platform that is easily portable to almost any place in the lab.

Stirrer Magnetic

Stirrer magnetic describes a mixing device for liquid solutions that is often preferred over other mixing instruments that require long, motor-driven, metal shafts that may take up bench space in the lab. A stir plate that is flat and portable that will accommodate beakers, flasks and other containers is quite handy and generally inexpensive.
