Almost all labs use either magnetic laboratory stirrers or laboratory hotplate stirrers. New Star Environmental offers both digital and analog stirrers as well as hot plates to meet most lab requirements. For variable speed mixing, our magnets come in a variety of materials and sizes and are resistant to most corrosive chemicals and elevated temperature.

Laboratory Stirrers

Laboratory stirrers come equipped with a variety of surfaces that include ceramic, aluminum and stainless steel tops for either hotplate stirring at high temperatures or simple magnetic stirring of liquids at room temperature. For ease of cleaning, the ceramic laboratory hotplate stirrer is most often preferred.
